Forsberg has witnessed significant change in recent months as the company prepares for future success; a rebrand, an office relocation and now exciting changes in leadership. Charles Forsberg is stepping down from his position as Managing Director and handing over the position to his heir apparent Chris Mayne, previously Operations Director.
Charles established the company name in 1987 acting as Managing Director of a steadily developing and changing navigation business. He has driven the company from a small consultancy to a navigation engineering company, currently employing 41 people with exciting growth plans for the future. Charles remains majority owner and will continue to play a significant role in the business, acting as Chief Technical Officer. This will enable Charles to focus his passion and engineering expertise in driving innovation with the business.
Chris has worked for Forsberg for 16 years, fulfilling the role of Operations Director for 7 years. He began his Forsberg career as an Engineering Assistant and subsequently drove his career and expertise whilst working across all facets of the business. Chris recently completed an MA in Management and Leadership at Lancaster University, this, along with his extensive knowledge of the company and operations, made him the natural choice to lead Forsberg into the 2020s.
